Rookie's Foreign Body Surgery - FUNDING COMPLETE!

Rookie ate something he wasn't supposed to, causing him to fall very ill which was the state he was in when we first met him. He came into our care through our PASS Program, Positive Alternatives to Shelter Surrender. Knowing that we needed to get the foreign body out right away, he quickly underwent surgery. We found that he ingested some type of rope that was causing his stomach issues. It was a very difficult surgery to repair the damage done to his intestines, leaving him with seven incisions. He's now on the mend recovering in the clinic so he can get healthy enough to be ready for adoption. If you can help us raise the funds to cover Rookie's care, please donate today. We're doing everything we can so that Rookie can be free of pain and feel like the 8-month-old puppy he's meant to.

*At times a chip in fund will raise more than a pet needs. When this happens, rest assured that excess gifts will be used to help another pet in need of your assistance! Thank you for helping us help pets!
