Roxanne's Tibia Fracture Repair Surgery - PAUSED 3/7

Roxanne came to APA! with a fractured left hind leg with exposed bone. We're not sure how she got this injury, but she was in a lot of pain and wouldn't walk on her back leg. She had to get lots of wound care and bandage changes for the ruptured skin around the fracture, and she stayed comfortable with pain medication while she waited for major surgery to repair her bone. With the help of an orthopedic specialist, Roxanne got the procedure she needed to secure her tibia back together and close up the open wound around it.

Sweet Roxanne just got the surgical pin removed from her tibia and has a chance to gain strength in her leg again. While she's on the road to recovery, we still need to raise the $2,000 her care costs so we can help the next vulnerable animal like her who comes in. We are only able to help pets like Roxanne get the special orthopedic surgeries they need with your help to raise the funds, even if the surgery itself couldn't wait! Can you chip in for her today?

*At times a chip-in fund will raise more than a pet needs. When this happens, rest assured that excess gifts will be used to help another pet in need of your assistance! Thank you for helping us help pets!
