Meet sweet Shamrock. He is a 5yr old Chihuahua that has cataracts and is also diabetic.
He is a very sweet pup and loves to snuggle but unfortunately he has had some bite incidents. Both of the times he bit somebody he was startled and scared by the people handling him because of his loss of vision.
Cataract surgery is not something that Austin Pets Alive normally pursues but because his inability to see is affecting his behavior and causing him to bite people we feel it’s a very important surgery for Shamrock to have. His diabetes is under control and he is normally a very sweet and loving dog and so this surgery could be all the difference for Shamrock! Please help him regain vision and find his furrever home!
