Sita recently arrived at our care from Bastrop County as a medical case due to her injuries, which include a broken leg. We are unsure of the timeline of when she received these injuries but we can tell she's been walking on this broken leg for awhile. Due to the break at the knee, the best course of action is to amputate the leg so this young pup can regain full mobility and move around comfortably. We need to send off blood work as well before we can operate to make sure her vitals are stable because she is having trouble gaining weight in her foster home.
