Smilodon has seen better days. He was transferred from Palm Valley Animal Center as a medical case due to his mouth and gum issues. We took a sample of his upper lip to send for a biopsy, but need to raise the funds in order to do so first. We want to rule out cancer as being the cause for his condition so we can better understand what our next steps should be.
