Stormy's Panosteitis and Skin Disease Care - FUNDING COMPLETE!

Stormy is the sweetest little pup but she's having some serious medical issues that have been getting her down. She was transferred to us from Austin Animal Center as a medical case. She has Panosteitis, a painful condition that results in limping and lameness in her legs. It affects the long bones in the legs of young dogs, usually between the ages of 5 to 18 months. At only three months old, she has a long journey ahead of her before she's fully healed of this painful disease, which will end when she stops growing. As if that wasn't enough, little Stormy also has a skin disease, which paired with Panosteitis, makes her skin painful to the touch. We need to take biopsy samples for histopathology and culture to try to get a definitive diagnosis on how to best treat this skin disease. To keep her comfortable while she works through these conditions, we have her on various pain medications as well as constant care. If you're able and want to help Stormy get over this hump in life, please donate to her medical fund today. Once she's healed, we know she's going to live life to the fullest.

*At times a chip in fund will raise more than a pet needs. When this happens, rest assured that excess gifts will be used to help another pet in need of your assistance! Thank you for helping us help pets!
