12/22 update: GOAL REACHED!

At just two months old, Triceratops has known nothing but pain. She scampered into APA!’s care from Bosque Animal Rescue Kennels after she experienced an extremely painful back fracture and was exposed to Parvovirus, a highly contagious gastrointestinal illness that is potentially deadly if untreated. Triceratops came straight to APA!’s Parvo Puppy ICU, the first of its kind in the nation, where she was treated for Parvo and has now tested negative!

Now the clinic team is focused on the sweet pup’s back fracture. Though we’re not sure how the fracture occurred, we do know that Triceratops needs $250 for pain medication, hospitalization, and nursing care.

Triceratops hasn’t stopped trying to recover and live a happy life that every puppy deserves. Will you give Triceratops a chance at a pain-free life?
