12/20 update: GOAL REACHED!

Well, well, well. Look who it is! It’s Trixie! Trixie is a 10 year old gal who came to us from Beaumont Animal Care with several health issues. This senior star is mostly blind and has canine cognitive disorder. We had to remove one of her eyes when she first arrived due to an infection. She is also likely deaf.

So, Trixie is geriatric, blind and deaf — not too different from an elderly human! We still love her bunches. Trixie needs to take an oral medication, selegiline, for the rest of her life to treat her cognitive disorder. This medicine makes her way more comfortable so she can enjoy cuddling with her humans.

We need to order three months worth of the medicine, totaling $240. Can you chip-in to bring Trixie comfort and joy?
