Wheeljack has had some bad luck lately. He was surrendered to Lockhart Animal Shelter after he was found by a good samaritan next to a blown transformer. He made his way into our care so our Medical Triage and Wellness Clinic could heal him of his injuries. He was badly electrocuted, leaving him with wounds all over his body. It was clear to us that his back leg was too damaged from the blow to be repaired, so we made the call to amputate it in order for him to have the chance to walk again.
