Winky arrived at our care last night from Lockhart Animal Shelter. We believe this three-month-old was hit by a car when she was wandering the streets as a stray. The damage that was caused happened mostly to her eye, as it is protruding out of her socket. Unfortunately, the injury is too severe to save the eye, so she needs to undergo surgery tomorrow to remove it. We know this spunky girl will live life to its fullest, even if she only has one eye.
