All items can be dropped off at our South Congress Location between 11-6 any day of the week (as long as the weather is above 50 and not raining).

Items to Support our Adoption Program

• Transport Vehicles – new or gently used vans or other large vehicles for transporting animals to and from offsite locations. Vans let us bring more animals to more adoption locations, directly increasing the lives we can save. Get rid of that old gas guzzler, get a tax deductible donation, and help save lives.
• Building – 3,500–10,000 sf. Zoned CS, preferably south of the river very close to downtown
• Plastic baby pools to keep the dogs cool at adoption events
• Plastic large and medium crates to safely transport the animals in the vans
• EZ Up tents to shade our animals at outdoor events
• Exercise pens – sold at Petco, Petsmart, and online
• Bowls
• Leashes
• Medium & Large “Easy Walk” Harnesses
• Collars- all sizes, especially small and extra small (kitten)
• Bandanas to help the dogs stand out

Food and Medical Supplies to Support our Foster Program

• Nutro Brand Natural Choice dog/puppy food, snacks (canned and dry)

Items We Will Need for New Facility:

• Cage banks = estimated at $5,000/ea. need 10 initially. (More will enable more animals saved)
• Adoption cases with Plexiglas fronts = estimated $2200/ea. need 2 large spaces (state-of-the-art case with proven success of improving adoption rates by eliminating “wire bars.”)
• Dog runs = estimated $2000/ea. (For use with high energy dogs or litters)
• Computer system and software for tracking animals
• Washer/dryer set, preferably industrial size to keep up with laundry
• Other working appliances: refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave
• Incubators for babies = estimated $450/ea. need 10
• Used desks and chairs for office areas
• Used straight or folding chairs for lobby area
• Telephone service- fax, reception, hotline; estimated $250/mo.
• Construction services to make improvements to the building to suit the needs of the animals (prevent disease, increase transport safety, enhance environment)
