Harley is the unofficial emotional support dog for the Behavior Team at APA!, sharing the office space with many close staff and volunteer friends. He wears the biggest, most genuine smile and wiggles as soon as he sees them.

He is the most polite gentleman when he goes on sleepovers with his friends. Harley will complement the kibble chef, especially if they top it off with some chicken! He'll happily spend some time sniffing the backyard for critters or scent balls, grabbing a big stick on a walk, or snoozing the day away on a comfy dog bed. If you work from home, he checks in to ensure you're having a good day. Or, he'll patiently listen to how your day was when you get home from the office. Don't be surprised if he thinks giving him pets or playing with a toy will make you happy!

Harley prefers to meet new people (adults and teenagers) slowly through a game of fetch because, as we all know, people who like balls are amazing. But once he brings you the ball, the door to Harley's world is open for love! Harley is known for demanding morning fetch as soon as his person wakes up, even before the first cup of coffee!

The bond that Harley builds with the people he trusts is irreplaceable and will last for a lifetime. Come meet your new, lifelong friend (and bring a ball)!

INTERESTED IN FOSTERING?

This pup is currently located at our Town Lake Animal Center (1156 W. Cesar Chavez, but use 1200 Reserve Road for mapping purposes). We'd love to show them off to you! To learn more about them, head in any day between 12:00PM - 6:00PM. We are open 7 days a week! Go to Building B and ask to speak with a Matchmaker about fostering this pup. You will sit down and discuss all we know about them and, if it's a good fit, get to meet them then! Please budget for a wait time unless you arrive right at opening as we cannot dictate walk-in traffic (wait times tend to be highest in the evenings and on weekends). If this pup ends up not being the best fit, we have so many other pups in need that we can suggest for your household on the spot!

Come meet your new best friend
