Meet Umbreon, a clever and affectionate canine companion who seamlessly integrates with his foster family's resident dogs. Umbreon, or Breo for short, stands out for his quick learning abilities and sharp mind. In just one short training session, he mastered commands like "sit" and learned not to jump up, showcasing his intelligence and eagerness to please.

This charming pup has a penchant for escapades, successfully navigating various pens and rooms. His escapes are driven by the desire to engage with other dogs, highlighting his friendly and sociable nature. While still young and occasionally rambunctious, Umbreon responds well to positive reinforcement, especially treats and attention.

Umbreon's ideal day involves a balanced routine of play, training, and relaxation. From enjoying morning snuggles to engaging in mentally stimulating activities with frozen Kongs and treat-filled toys, he appreciates a mix of fun and downtime. This loving pup craves touch and pets, demonstrating his sweet and affectionate side when calm.

Umbreon's heartwarming reaction to receiving his first stuffed toy reflects his emotional depth and the potential for a deep bond with his future family. If you're seeking an intelligent, loving, and playful companion, Umbreon could be the perfect addition to your home.

PUPPIES AND OTHER HIGHLY-ADOPTABLE DOGS DISCLAIMER:

Puppies and other highly-adoptable dogs (small dogs or desirable-breed dogs) at APA! are very high in demand and usually have several interested adopters. Inquiring about a dog, meeting a dog, and even applying for a dog does not guarantee that you will be able to adopt the dog. Only one household will be able to adopt each dog, which means all other interested households will inevitably and unfortunately be disappointed. Please consider this in your search and set your expectations accordingly. Please also consider that adult dogs do not typically have competing adopters, and they need furever homes, too! Additionally, APA! does not allow the adoption of dogs who are related (e.g., littermates or mom and pup) to the same household for behavioral reasons.
