Charlie was left abandoned in an apartment. He was abandoned in old age and with multiple medical issues. So many dogs, like Charlie, do not receive any vet care throughout their life and end up with compounded issues and without a home when they are senior and owners can no longer find value in them.

When Charlie first arrived at the medical clinic he couldn't even get up. He was carried in and his first physical exam happened with him laying down unwilling to move or react. After an exam that revealed multiple perianal masses, a mass near his thyroid, and arthritis, the staff offered Charlie some food; and to our surprise he brightened up and wanted to eat! This was a great sign and let us know Charlie was eager to live. Charlie is scheduled to have these masses removed and have a full work up done at partner clinic and he has a generous donor that is willing to pay for the majority of the bills but there is a portion left over.
