12/16 update: GOAL REACHED!

Bertwhistle sauntered to our clinic from Austin Animal Center. We just found that this one year old girl has a grade 4/6 heart murmur and a distended abdomen. We need to perform an echocardiogram to figure out what’s going on with her heart. In the meantime, we also need to provide her with medication to treat any heart failure and provide her with a heart-friendly anesthetic drug for any surgeries she may need, including her upcoming spay.
