Christopher has a big toothache! Well, more than a toothache…he has a chronic fracture in his jaw. With the fracture proving slow to heal, our orthopedic surgeon is prepared to do a big procedure to ensure that he heals correctly and is comfortable for the rest of his life. He will be doing a rostral hemimandibulectomy, which is quite a mouthful (no pun intended)! This will require removing a small section of the damaged bone, yikes! Although it sounds daunting, this will help Christopher be able to eat, bark, and kiss the face of his new adopter!
