IIsla Lund is yet another dog hit by a car that was left to die. If you are reading this blog you most likely are an animal lover. Much like you, I cannot swallow the thought of accidentally hitting an animal while driving and choosing to not help in some way, shape, or form. Even more so if it is a companion pet.
Dogs and cats bring humans so much joy, love, and comfort. In return, they are all too often left abandoned and alone when they
need us the most. These animals rely on us and cannot communicate how desperate they are when injuries happen. And when accidents, or intentional acts of harm, happen at the hands of humans is when we should unquestionably step in and help.
IIsla Lund has a hip out of socket and a knee cap out of place. She has also suffered multiple wounds and lacerations. Despite this she is incredibly sweet and loves all people.
Is this fair? Do we deserve this kind of devotion?
Most likely not, but we can certainly step in and help in return.
