As you can see from his photo, Lawrence has been through a lot. Bastrop County Animal Services reached out to us and asked if we could rescue him after he was attacked by two other dogs; of course, we said yes. Once he was here, we could see he was in excruciating pain. People from the area said he was a stray and had been wandering around for a few weeks. The attack left him with a severe eye injury and multiple puncture wounds all over his body. Our clinic decided the only way to free him of this pain would be for him to undergo surgery to remove the eye from the crushed socket. We still have a long road ahead of us to fight off infection, but we know Lawrence can do it. If you'd like to help fill his medical fund to cover these costs, please give today.
*At times a chip in fund will raise more than a pet needs. When this happens, rest assured that excess gifts will be used to help another pet in need of your assistance! Thank you for helping us help pets!
