5/11 update: GOAL REACHED!
Milky Way came to APA! when the Houston Humane Society reached out for help. Due to his dome shaped head, Milky Way has been diagnosed with hydrocephalus, a condition that causes an excess of cerebrospinal fluid that increases pressure on the skull and brain.
At seven months old, Milky Way is a sweet, social, and playful puppy that’s looking for his furever home. Milky Way might be a little clumsy and slightly visually impaired due to the condition, but with the help of a daily medication called Omeprazole, he can go on to live life to its fullest potential!
One year of this medication costs $130 and will need to be given to Milky Way for his entire life to help offset any symptoms. Can you help ensure Milky Way’s medications are filled?
