Mr. Tibbs is a six-year-old cat that came to us from Austin Animal Center as a medical case due to having issues with his ears. When he arrived, he wasn't eating and seemed very depressed. We came to the conclusion that a large tumor in his ear was causing him a great deal of pain explaining his sad behavior. When we took a closer look at the tumor, it was clear he would need a Total Ear Canal Ablation, which is a surgical procedure in which the diseased tissue of the external and middle ear is removed. By doing so, Mr. Tibbs would finally be healed of his chronic ear disease and not have to deal with regular medical management of his ear. He deserves to live the rest of his years in comfort and free of pain in a loving home, so we're going to do everything we can to make sure he receives just that.
