6/3 update: GOAL REACHED!

Sparky came to APA! with a badly ruptured left eye, covered in diarrhea, and very underweight. Our veterinarians were able to immediately heal Sparky’s eye with an enucleation surgery and while he’s recovering from that surgery, we need to figure out what is causing his diarrhea.

It’s evident to our medical team that Sparky’s been dealing with chronic diarrhea for a long time, shown by his thickened scalded skin. Sparky’s been on a buffet of medications and prescription food, but his diarrhea isn’t calming down and we need to do a full GI tract PCR so we can determine the exact infectious cause of his diarrhea.
