Meet Alby. We've been caring for this sweet 12-week-old pup for the past several weeks since he was born into our care. Ultimately, he has something keeping food from going down his esophagus preventing him from getting the nourishment he needs. The radiologist believes it's a vessel that's blocking his food, which means he needs an open chest surgery where we'd go in and tie off that vessel to allow food to go through. This is a costly and very challenging procedure that requires two specialty surgeons to be present for it. We need to raise $2K as quickly as possible if Alby is going to have his best shot at recovering. Even with the procedure, there is a chance that this correction to his vessel will not fix his esophagus. But we believe every animal that enters our care deserves their best chance at life, so we're going to do everything in our power to heal little Alby so he can go own to live the life he's meant to with his forever family.
