Diesel is a very handsome and sweet 5yr old Retriever Mix that loves long walks in the park and cool sunsets. He loved people and is patiently waiting for his furr-ever home. Sadly Diesel was owner surrendered to the city shelter 1.5yrs ago, was transferred to APA, and is still with us today.
Diesel is an amazing dog but most people turn away from this handsome guy because of his skin issues. He has on-going hair loss and itching that has yet to be controlled. While Diesel is not always itchy and uncomfortable he often is, and allergy testing is needed to determine what exactly is the cause of Diesel’s skin problem. Could it be food? Environment? Mange? All of these things have been looked into and right when we feel his treatment is working he regresses.
Diesel needs $225 to have allergy testing done. Once the results come back Diesel’s outlook will be much brighter and hopefully we can get his looks to match his wonderful personality!
