Little Georgia

When Town Lake Animal Center contacted us about little Georgia, they knew something was wrong with her but didn’t know what exactly.  They had guesses of a neurological disorder, a fractured jaw, or even rabies.  So we took little Georgia into our care to see if we could help and learned very quickly that her issues was none of these things.

She actually has a deformed tongue that was making it impossible for her to eat the dry kibble at TLAC.  One quickly devoured can of wet cat food showed us that she is able to eat just fine!  We are now monitoring her to make sure she is able to drink enough water with her tongue or if she’ll need additional help.  Please consider sponsoring the extra TLC Georgia is receiving here at Austin Pets Alive!

Big Georgia sends along her best. She’s offered to help get Little G set up on the road to recovery. :)
