November 10, 2015 (Austin, TX)– Austin Pets Alive! is thrilled to report that it regained full legal custody of Neville this morning following the entry of an Agreed Final Order authorizing Neville’s release back to Austin Pets Alive!. Neville will be kept in a secure location at Austin Pets Alive! until his best forever home can be found.

In following with Austin Pets Alive!’s tradition of responsible pet placement, it agreed to various restrictions required by the Travis County Attorneys, including that Neville be placed in a home without children and receive behavioral training. Austin Pets Alive! greatly thanks and commends David Escamilla, Sharon Talley and Annalynn Cox at the Travis County Attorneys Office for their deep commitment to protecting the community and seeking the service of justice.

Austin Pets Alive! will host a Q&A session for the general public to learn more about Neville, the Agreed Final Order and other adoption questions on Wednesday, November 11, at 6pm at their Town Lake Animal Center location.

Austin Pets Alive! is asking anyone interested in adopting Neville to fill out the form below. There will be an adoption application review process so that Neville gets the forever home he needs and deserves.

Austin Pets Alive! would like to thank lead counsel Robyn Frohlin of  Korell & Frohlin, LLP, and Kristina Williams of Dykema Cox Smith, who were instrumental in having Neville’s case revisited by the courts. Without them and the lawyers who supported them, including, Michelle Maloney, Mary Schaerdel Dietz, Brenda Collier and Eric Torberson, Neville would not have survived let alone had the hopeful future he deserves.

Austin Pets Alive! also would like to thank the Austin, Texas, community and the Save Neville petitioners across the world who rallied in support of Neville.  Without them, Neville’s story could not be heard or heeded.

Austin Pets Alive! relies solely on the community’s support for dogs and cats like Neville who are worth saving and deserve a second chance. Donations allow Austin Pets Alive! to continue helping the animals in need of saving and to eliminate the killing of companion animals in and around Austin:
