Vivacious, super-smart Superstar!

Well Well Well... Look who rolled her dough on in to the APA! bakery- Miss Pillsbury Biscuit!!

Miss Pillsbury is our resident larger-than-life superstar. She's like the glamorous star who sweeps into a roomful of celebrities and instantly commands all the attention for herself. She loves to be entertained and adored, and she knows she deserves it!

She's eager to introduce herself to everyone she meets, no matter their age. She will meow as a quick hello and then rub all over your legs to ask for attention and pets. She seems to know to be extra gentle when interacting with children. Grown people? She'll practically bowl you over with her insistent head butts. When she's feeling especially loving, she may even hop onto your shoulder to nuzzle your ear and eat your hair! There are only a few forms of affection that she finds unacceptable, namely, she does not like being touched on her forbidden belly or being picked up or pushed away. Otherwise, keep the pets coming! When she decides she needs some quality time alone, she will gently let you know.

As royal and regal as she is, Pillsbury knows that older or chill dogs will be loyal and bend the knee to her queenly ways. As far as she is concerned, she's the only cat in the world and no others need apply for your affection, or even inhabit her space. We sometimes let her run up and down the cattery hall for exercise; she does that gladly, stopping to hiss at every other cat along the way.

Pillsbury is an exceptionally intelligent cat; so much so that she gets bored without sufficient stimulation and attention. She knows her name and will come if you call her. She will also sit when you ask her to, though she does expect a treat in return. We think she could learn other tricks too.

Interactive toys are great for her, especially if you rotate them in and out of her space. She's intrigued by concealed-motion toys, and went bonkers over an automated wand toy with a shiny butterfly! She eventually got bored and went off to find something else to do, but then the shiny butterfly material caught her eye and she had to play with it all over again! She likes to bunny-kick small rugs and will make hilarious facial expressions while doing so. She's entranced by laser pointers. In fact, if you want her to go somewhere, you can avoid drama by simply leading her to that location with a laser pointer!

She loves having different levels to perch on, especially if they're near a sunny window. She proudly shows off her supreme hunting skills by following and ekekekekekek-ing at fish, birds and squirrels on Cat TV or in the window, even sometimes trying to catch them through the screen! She even used a cat tree to teach herself a hilarious new trick: 1. Sit on cat tree. 2. When your human approaches, slowly inch off the platform into your human's hands until you are half on the platform and half on your human's hands. 3. Insist on pets, then fall asleep in this half-on, half-off position.

In short, Miss Pillsbury is a very unique and special cat who will keep you laughing with her silly and hilarious antics. She's a confident plus-size girl who lives large and loud, and she'll always let you know whether she's happy or not.

She would LOVE a furr-ever home with plenty of space to roam and lots of interesting toys and people to keep her engaged and entertained. She's truly a joy to be around. If she sounds like just your cup of tea, contact us today to arrange a meet-and-greet!

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
