Nose Freckles, Poker Face, Manly (but not macho)

Bao'd Up is a man of mystery! He would likely go far on the professional poker circuit given that his face gives nothing away. He seems to most enjoy the company of men and watching TV, so he could be a good companion for someone who spends time in a man cave!

Bao seems more affectionate with men, and likes some good scratches - though it might just be that since his foster mom is the one who gives him his meds, he prefers his foster dad!

Bao is a chill guy and isn't interested in playing much. He prefers to lounge on a pile of pillows or to nap on his back on the couch - or to curl up in the spot RIGHT in front of a door! Be careful when opening a door, he might be on the other side of it, like a furry doorstop. Also, he can be an escape artist, so make sure he doesn't dart out when you open it!

When Bao met the friendly dog in his foster home, the dog tried to play with him, but Bao wasn't ready for that at the time. Now that he's lived with the dog for a while, Bao wants to play - he tries to get the dog to chase him by meowing at him or nipping at his neck! - but the dog is like, nope, now *I* don't want to play. Maybe one day they'll both want to play nicely at the same time!?

Bao has had good experience with other cats, cuddling with them and hanging out quietly with them. He's generally a calm and careful guy.

Bao is on meds for seizures for reasons unknown; it's possible the meds will clear up what is causing the infrequent seizures, or it might just be something that he lives with. He's not a fan of meds, but he will take them!

Bao is one of the most unique, enigmatic cats we have met! He is a gorgeous gray and white tabby who marches to the beat of his own kitty drum. Contact us today to learn more and to arrange a meet & greet!

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
