Low-Key, Affectionate, Nap Expert

Bao'd Up is the cutest little dumpling! He has a dashing tabby coat, adorable white mittens and the sweetest way of curling his little back toes when he sleeps. He's a chill guy who is so sweet, enjoying snuggles beside you more than just about anything. Swaddle him in a fuzzy blanket on your lap and he will sleep there for hours. Put him in a baby wrap carrier on your chest and he will contently nap as you go about your day. Don't be surprised if the neighbors get a little envious of your happy, easy baby!

Bao is mellow most of the time. But, if he sees cat toys, pony tail bands or coins on the ground he will playfully bop them around. Then it's back to power lounging with his humans! He also likes to curl up RIGHT in front of a door. So, keep an eye out! He might be on the other side of the door you are about to open, like a furry doorstop. He can be an escape artist and may try to make a run for it - so make sure he doesn't dart out when the door is opened!

Bao gets along well with the dog in his foster home, an 85 lb Berendoodle! Bao wants to play with his pup buddy and tries to get the dog to chase him by meowing at him or playfully nipping at his neck.

Bao has had good experience with other cats, cuddling with them and hanging out quietly with them. He's generally a calm and careful guy.

Bao is on medication for seizures that we suspect are caused by previous head trauma. Giving him his meds is easily done by adding them to his food.

Bao means precious treasure in Chinese, just what you will get if you take home Bao'd Up! Contact us today to learn more and to arrange a meet & greet!

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
