Affectionate, Easygoing, Sweet

Esther is a happy, playful kitten who loves to be the center of attention. She is a social girl, loves to be around her foster's family, including her resident cats, and three German Shepherds! She goes nose to nose with the dogs and rubs her face on them affectionately.

Esther has a super sweet and cuddly personality. She loves to climb straight up to her foster mama's shoulder and flop there, getting kisses on her little cheeks. Whenever her foster mom enters the room, Esther meows at her excitedly, she knows she gets to snuggle up with her.

When she was about five weeks old, she was diagnosed with Megaesophagus (also known as Mega-E). It is basically an enlargement of her esophagus. When she was a tiny kitten this caused her to barf after eating unless she was held up straight.

Since then Esther's Mega-E has significantly improved. Now, as long as she is on her meds (an over the counter antacid) she doesn't need any extra care. She's on a wet food diet, it's easier on her throat.

Esther loved playing with her brother before he was adopted. They wrestled each other, and slept cuddled up close together. She would definitely benefit from having a feline buddy or two (or even with her mama, Dot!). She is such a perfect little girl, that also has a perfect toothy smile when she is happy (she inherited this smile from her mama.)'
