Peaceful, Lovable, Adorable

Grover is the complete opposite of a grumpy old man, this sweet guy wants to do nothing more than snuggle all day! He is a jolly old soul, who is just looking for a house to settle down in. Due to his age, Grover would much rather take a nap at your side instead of playing. He is incredibly affectionate (not to mention handsome) and just wants to be in your arms for as long as possible. Other than purring while he is getting attention, Grover isn't a super vocal kitty. However, he will sometimes let out a little peep while he is waiting for his wet food in the morning.

Grover had a bad experience with dogs in the past that left him with a scar on his left ear. He also gets nervous when he hears loud sounds, so a house with children is not for him. Grover came to his foster in poor condition, but after all of the loving care he's received, he has blossomed into a very distinguished gentleman.

He just has the sweetest purrsonality, and when you lay down he will crawl right onto your chest or shoulder. Grover likes to be so close that your noses will touch, he is just such a cuddle bug. He has a super fuzzy chest and neck, that makes him look like a lion!

Grover is currently healing from dental surgery. He had nine teeth removed, including two canines. He is one strong kitty! Grover has diabetes and requires some extra medical care, which may include a regulated diet and/or insulin. He is currently in remission, meaning he doesn't currently need insulin shots. However, he is still being monitored to see if he will need more shots in the future. For more information, please contact APA! Grover is on a wet food-only diet. He likes to have water added so it is a slushie-like texture. He will need his food like this for the rest of his life.

Grover would do best in a peaceful adult-only household. He needs someone who can monitor his health in his old age and give him the proper veterinary care for his diabetes. Grover is truly worth every penny in the world.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
