Sweet, Chill, Surprising!

Backyard Sleepover is an easy girl to hang out and chill with, like your best chum! She likes to be in the room with you getting pets and scratches or sitting in the doorway, just hanging out at a distance. And she is a biscuit maker! Whenever she is excited she will make biscuits, and she is very good at her job. She has earned numerous affectionate nicknames in her foster home, including (of course) Biscuit Baker, Li'l Beasy, and Backyardigan, to name a few.

While Backyard Sleepover might spend most of her time chilling, she does have her spurts of playfulness! Her favorite toy is your hair tie to bat around.

If you talk to her, she probably will talk back; she isn't a big talker and has a pretty mew when she does. She's a smart girl and we think if we knew her name (if she had one) before she came to APA!, she might actually answer to it! We don't know much about her history, but she arrived too thin and missing most of her teeth - and due to her missing teeth, her tongue often sticks out, which is very cute!

Backyard Sleepover is affectionate with the dogs in her foster home and wants to rub on them! She's also very sweet with the resident, free-roaming chinchilla; see photo! She is gentle and good with them all.

This regal lady needs a little time to trust people before she opens up. She's completely sweet and would likely do best in a home with adults, young adults, and older kids who can be gentle and respectful with her. She is affectionate and prefers to be near you and around you rather than being picked up.

Backyard Sleepover has old kidneys, and they might not be functioning as well as they once were. She needs good access to water and a wet food diet.

Backyard Sleepover has a pretty white coat with black patches, an all-black tail, and a perfect black mask that makes a little white flame on her forehead! She would thrive in a peaceful home with comfy places for her to get her Zen on. Since she gets along with the dogs and chinchilla in her foster home, we think she could get along with a calm and nice cat.

Backyard Sleepover would like to come sleep over at your house forever! Contact us today to arrange a meet & greet with this sweet and heart-enriching girl.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
