Meet Calicat, a lovely kitty searching for the purrfect place to call her forever home; a home that will give her the patience and space she needs to feel safe and settled.

This sweet girl is a little bit shy, but she is working at getting comfortable with new creatures and experiences. She is currently in foster with both feline and canine friends, but hasn't interacted with them directly. However, she can see them from her space and does not react negatively to their presence.

Calicat likes people. She is particular about how she engages as she can sometimes get stressed. She has a tendency to hiss as her primary form of vocalization. She's not aggressive, though. Not remotely. She's a charming lady who absolutely loves being pet. She'll meow to get your attention and give a small hiss if you stop petting her too soon for her liking.

A calm habitat is Calicat's ideal home. She can be jumpy - sometimes even getting startled by toys - but she is a charming kitty who just wants to be loved and give love. You just have to look into her enchanting gaze to realize that she is ready to chill out with her furever family.
