What's Bacon Indiana's idea of the purr-fect home? We're in the process of finding out! So far, we know she loves getting neck scritches and will rub her head against your hand to get all the right angles. She also likes being brushed and was patient and grateful while we worked on getting the mats out of her fur.

When Bacon arrived she was suffering from severe glaucoma, and in pain. Our clinic has removed her eyes, and though this sounds scary, Bacon is feeling much better. She had likely been without sight for some time.

Miss Bacon was living outdoors as a TNR'ed cat, now she is comfy and safe at the shelter. This girlie is a favorite of more than a few staff members and volunteers. She is so incredibly sweet!

Bacon Indiana is available for adoption, and is in need of a foster home where she can learn the ropes of being a housecat.

We'll get back to you with more details soon, or, if you'd like to hear more, write [email protected].

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
