Community Chest is a cute old man with chonky cheeks! He may have been outside on his own for quite some time so he's a little scuffed around the edges. But we've patched him up and removed his broken and rotten teeth, so now he's feeling much better.

He loves to spend his days lounging around, especially in a sunny window where he can catch some rays and watch the world go by. He coexists peacefully with his feline roomies and ignores them if they get sassy.

Community Chest is still learning to trust humans, but he's come a long way. Now he will happily sit near you and accept pets if you give him some treats.

We think Community Chest will blossom even more once he has a forever home where he knows he's safe. All he asks is for a sunny window perch, soft spots for napping, and a calm person who will let him adjust at his own pace. Oh, and many treats of course!

Community Chest has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. He can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
