Purring, curious, serene

Meet Dragon Driftway! For this sweet cow-patterned cat, just one pet is enough to set off a chain reaction of loud purrs and biscuit making on her bed. Her biscuit factory has no safety regulations---just 24/7 biscuit making!

This kitty is all about the chill, homebody life! Whenever you're not around, Dragon crawls straight into bed for a nap. When you are around, she becomes your personal attendant. Dragon loves to follow you as you move around the house, and when you're settled down, she will assume a loafing position and quietly watch you from across the room. Even her playtime is more lowkey! She loves to 'play in place,' AKA swat feathers and wand toys. Dragon will also always enjoy watching bird and squirrel videos on YouTube; she becomes so immersed that she chirps at the screen!

Just like her personality, Dragon has a sweetly quiet love language! She enjoys pets, but she will step away to let you know that she's done. However, she can never get enough of your presence! She always wants to be in the same room as you. As soon as she spots you, the biscuits and purrs get extra concentrated.

Dragon is a smart kitty, especially when it comes to learning! So despite her George-grade curiosity, it won't take longer than a few days to teach her not to jump on countertops or scratch furniture. You can even teach her to high five for treats!

Speaking of, Dragon is a very food-motivated kitty. She will only ever meow for food (and to get out of a locked room), and she's extra affectionate when she's trying to bribe you for a snack. Her foster believes that she had trouble finding a stable food source in the past, so she's currently working on becoming less food-motivated. On the bright side, she will never act aggressive---just more affectionate!

Dragon would be happy to join any calm, loving household! As long as she is fed, she will simply chill in her bed while you are away at work, making her a great cat for a working parent. But on the flip side, she loves being near people and enjoys the vibe of a secure home, so she would also appreciate someone who is at home often! Her foster thinks she may benefit from a kitty friend to keep her company and/or exploit at her biscuit factory!

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
