Friendly, Curious, Playful

Penny is a delightful kitty girl! Even though she's a grownup now, she's still very playful - she loves to chase and leap for wand toys. She is quite the explorer and will curiously investigate every nook and cranny in the house!

Penny is social and confident. She enjoys meeting new people and chatting them up. You will find yourself encouraging her to talk so you can enjoy her adorable tiny, soft little voice!

Penny is affectionate, too. She will climb up on the sofa to be next to you, then will happily lounge there with you. She loves snuggling and may climb up on your chest or belly to feel closest to you. She doesn't mind being picked up if you're helping her get on your lap. (She's literally trapped her foster in her office for at least 1.5-2 hours every day after work by plopping on her lap, hugging her and passing out!) She will head-butt you every now and then to remind you how much she loves you!

Penny is in diabetic remission - this very official, kind of scary term means, in short, that she was diabetic, but her body is now maintaining sugar levels on its own. Penny doesn't need insulin but needs to stay on a diabetic friendly diet. You can find this food easily in town or order it online. For more detailed information, just give us a shout at [email protected].

Penny would do best in a home with people who have time to play with her, talk with her, and engage in deep couch-sitting with her. She is patient with her foster's resident cat, and would do well with a calm kitty or as your only cat. Contact us today to meet your new BFF (best feline friend)!

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
