Meet Tootsie Pop aka "Whipp", your next cuddle companion!

Whipp is a sweet and loving pup who thrives on affection and snuggles. He's a gentle soul, always eager to be by your side, whether it's for a cozy nap or a fun play session with his toys. Although he can be a bit shy when meeting new dogs, he quickly warms up and is excited to make new furry friends.

Whipp is house trained and only goes potty outside, making him an easy addition to any home. He's also well-behaved when left alone, free-roaming the downstairs level without causing any trouble. While he knows basic obedience commands like "sit, "down, "stay, and "wait, he's still learning about personal space and boundaries. Sometimes, he forgets and gets a little too close, but it's all part of his charm.

This playful pup loves to snooze inside, play with his toys for hours, and try new treats. He has a goofy demeanor that will make you laugh and smile, especially when he's enthusiastically playing with his toys. Whipp has a habit of destroying his toys, but it's better than destroying anything else in the house!

Whipp's ideal home would have parents who are around often, possibly with some older children. He enjoys walks but isn't a fan of long distances; he much prefers snuggling up inside with his favorite person or another dog. He can be a bit protective and will bark at new people at first, but he quickly calms down and offers kisses and tail wags once he feels safe.

If you're looking for a loving, affectionate, and eager-to-please companion, Whipp is your perfect match! He's ready to bring joy and laughter to his forever home.

PUPPIES AND OTHER HIGHLY-ADOPTABLE DOGS DISCLAIMER:

Puppies and other highly-adoptable dogs (small dogs or desirable-breed dogs) at APA! are very high in demand and usually have several interested adopters. Inquiring about a dog, meeting a dog, and even applying for a dog does not guarantee that you will be able to adopt the dog. Only one household will be able to adopt each dog, which means all other interested households will inevitably and unfortunately be disappointed. Please consider this in your search and set your expectations accordingly. Please also consider that adult dogs do not typically have competing adopters, and they need furever homes, too! Additionally, APA! does not allow the adoption of dogs who are related (e.g., littermates or mom and pup) to the same household for behavioral reasons.
