We have happy updates about some of our featured pals from APA's 12 Days of Saves!
Remember on the 1st Day of Saves APA saved Rudy? The little champion survived Panleukopenia, and had a broken leg during it all. He was pre-adopted on December 31, 2012. What a wonderful holiday gift for him: a forever home. Once Rudy's leg is completely healed, he will be neutered and ready to go home!
You can't forget the fluffy cream puff! On the 3rd Day of Saves APA saved Lionel. He is Feline Leukemia positive, and easily the most handsome cat of 2012. This stud was adopted in no time at all. He went home on December 22, 2012, only 7 days after entering the FeLV sanctuary. He was adopted with another FeLV positive kitty named Mari. The fact that APA gave these kitties a second chance at life is an amazing thing. It is doubly amazing that they were adopted and get to spend the rest of their lives in a loving home. It is beyond amazing that they can spend the rest of their lives with each other in said home!
On the 12th Day of Saves APA saved Harley and Hayley. Well, Hayley the beauty queen has been adopted! No surprise at all because this pomeranian is so cute it hurts. She even has a heart-shaped pattern on her face. She can be sassy when she wants, or she can be really sweet and cuddly. This young parvo survivor went home, and APA could not be more happy for her. Her brother Harley and mother Harriet are still up for adoption.
