We are excited to announce our 5th annual American Pets Alive! conference!
American Pets Alive! provides the forum for Austin Pets Alive! to share information on the life saving programs and protocols that helped Austin, Texas become the largest no-kill city in the United States.
APA! staff and volunteers will be joined by other national leaders in the No-Kill movement to provide detailed information on how you can replicate this success in your own community.
This year’s conference will be held at the beautiful Westin at the Domain, located in north Austin and in close proximity to the shopping, restaurant and entertainment opportunities that the Domain offers. Conference registration will begin Friday morning, February 20th.
The conference itself will begin at noon with lunch and an opening presentation by Dr. Ellen Jefferson and Ryan Clinton, two nationally acclaimed leaders in the no-kill movement. You won’t want to miss this opportunity to hear them explain how Austin and APA! got started on the path to no-kill. The conference continues through 6:00pm on Sunday, February 22nd. Lunch is included for all three days and a continental breakfast will be served Saturday and Sunday. Conference registrants will also have the opportunity to purchase the American Pets Alive! No-Kill Handbook and sign up for an afternoon tour of the APA! shelters.
We are thrilled that this year’s conference once again coincides with Austin’s No-Kill Anniversary Party on Sunday evening; AmPA! Conference registrants will be able to purchase tickets to this party at a special rate. Transportation to and from the party will be provided.
We hope that you will consider joining us in February, please visit us online for details on registration or email [email protected] if you have any questions.
