Announcing the Launch of our Cat Program!

We are so excited to have started our cat program this week!  Our program is being led by Ky Wald, who has vast experience with animal rescue.   She has served as the Director of the Humane Society of Williamson County, Assistant Directory of the SPCA Los Angeles, and co-founded the Rescue and Humane Alliance of Los Angeles.

We expect this program to grow significantly over the next year and just like our dog program, we will be taking adoptable cats from TLAC's euthanasia list and making them available for adoption at our adoption events.

The cat program is still in its beginning stages and we can use a lot of help from the community.  We especially need supplies, foster homes, and volunteers for some key positions.

Thank you to Ky and all of the volunteers who have helped start this program to help APA! get even closer to making Austin a no-kill city!
