Rescue Roundup 2010, hosted by the Canine Hilton, will be a fun-filled day of friendly competition between 14 local Austin area rescues (APA! being one of them) to see who can bring in the most donations during the event and earn a grand prize of goods and services valued at $5000!
The event is free and open to the public, so be sure to stop by the APA! booth to make your donation and participate in our Doggie Kissing Booth, Doggie Photo Booth, and games to win gift certificates from Dirty Dog and Lofty Dog.
We will also have a very special guest on hand at 1:30 pm to shake paws and sell his campaign shirts...Texas gubernatorial candidate WOODROW the dog!
The day will be filled with plenty of exciting activities for the whole family including live music by Lucas Cook, Byrd & Street, Kerry Pryor & Friends, and Double R Nothin'! Enjoy Speed Alley Lure Coursing open to all breeds, bobbing for hot dogs, glamour dog painting, pet portraits, dog gear & accessories, games, prizes, face painting, kid's bouncy house, food, drinks, raffles, and more!
