Roscoe Pup

Roscoe Pup is about 5 months old and has been through quite a lot! He came to us from Bastrop during one of our many transfers of animals with his two siblings. When they arrived, it was soon discovered that they had parvo but thanks to our wonder team in the veterinary department, all three were happy and healthy in no time!

However, now Roscoe has another medical battle ahead of him: distemper. The Austin Pets Alive! vet team has an over 90% success rate of helping distemper pups survive, so we are all confident he will rise to the challenge and be a happy,healthy puppy in no time. But we need your help! Please support us in our efforts to cure Roscoe of distemper.

***UPDATE***

Roscoe is still battling his distemper and while he is eating more, he is not out of the woods just yet.  Long term he may have some twitching that doesn't go away.  As long as not painful and he can get around, this is not going to impede his life.  His twitching should improve immediately after the disease and then over the long term as well (years).   He may not be able to be an athlete but should have a good life.  Please keep Roscoe in your thoughts as he battles this disease.
