Thank you again to everyone for the outpouring of support for sweet Victory - she is still safe and happy in her foster home.
There have been some developments in her case that have resulted in an investigation by the Hutto Police Department. They are managing the process very well, and Victory's health and well-being is top priority.
Additionally, there has been new information that indicates Victory's disfigurement may be caused by a disease (rather than an act of cruelty). She has seen two specialists, including a dermatologist, to determine the best course of action. We are doing everything we can at APA! to keep the ball rolling in light of these new developments. Victory can still breathe easily and her pain is well managed by medicine.
We will provide a full update on Victory as soon as we are able.
